ESN Gemma Köllaschaun / Wine tasting

If you want to spend a relaxed day outside of Vienna and get to know the Austrian village life – this is the perfect opportunity! On April 25th we are going to visit Weiden am See, a small wine village close to lake Neusiedl. On this day around 20 local wineries are going to open their cellars and you can try as much of their wine as you want! (That´s what “Gemma Köllaschaun” means – for everybody who doesn´t speak perfect Austrian dialect yet ;)). Before the wine tasting we´d like to have a picnic on the lake, so bring your own food. There's also the possibility to rent a paddle boat! So cross your fingers that we catch a sunny day! :)

The price of 45 euro with/ 50 euro without ESN card includes:

- Wine tasting (unlimited) & 20 euros wine voucher for wine bottles to bring home (to be used there - please bring a large bag or backpack to bring the bottles back to Vienna)
- Transportation (by train, departing from Wien Hauptbahnhof)
- A (hopefully) sun-filled and (definitely) fun-filled day by the lake! :)

Payment:
At the ESN office until Thursday, April 23rd, 2015. You're only guaranteed your spot once you've come to the office and paid in cash.

If the weather is absolutely terrible on Saturday, we will notify you and skip the picnic. In that event, we'll only meet at Hauptbahnhof at 12PM instead and go directly to the wine tasting.

Wenn du einen gemütlichen Tag außerhalb Wiens verbringen und ein bisschen österreichische Landluft schnuppern willst – hier ist die perfekte Gelegenheit dafür! Am 25. April besuchen wir Weiden am See, ein kleines Weindorf am Neusiedlersee. An diesem Tag öffnen etwa 20 Weinbauern ihre Keller und man kann so viel Wein verkosten, wie man will! (Das ist was „Gemma Köllaschaun“ bedeutet, für alle die den österreichischen Dialekt noch nicht ganz perfekt beherrschen ;)). Vor der Weinverkostung planen wir ein Picknick am See, also nehmt etwas zu Essen mit. Außerdem gibt es die Möglichkeit, ein Boot zu mieten! Also drückt die Daumen, dass wir einen sonnigen Tag erwischen :)

Im Preis von 45 Euro mit/ 50 Euro ohne ESN Card ist inkludiert:

- Weinverkostung (unlimitiert) & 20 Euro Weingutschein für Weinflaschen zum Mit-nach-Hause-Nehmen (sofort vor Ort einlösbar - bitte nimm einen Rucksack oder eine große Tasche mit, um die Weinflaschen nach Wien transportieren zu können)
- Transport (mit dem Zug von Wien Hauptbahnhof)
- Ein (hoffentlich) sonniger und (sicher) lustiger Tag am See! :)

Im ESN-Office bis 23. April 2015. Dein Platz ist erst garantiert, wenn du im Office in bar bezahlt hast.

Falls das Wetter am Samstag wirklich grauenhaft ist, müssen wir das Picknick leider ausfallen lassen. In diesem Fall bekommt ihr von uns eine Nachricht und wir treffen uns erst um 12 Uhr am Hauptbahnhof.
