Hey you,
Austria is all about hiking, but you don’t know where to start?
No need to rush for the Alps, the answer is closer than you might think: Join us on a tour through the pine forests of the nature reserve Föhrenberge in the South of Vienna. Follow us to panoramic views of the Alps and take the chance to spot Ziesel – the Austrian ground squirrel. To complete the hiking experience, we’ll drop in at one of the „mountain“ huts along the way ;) This hike is not only a great opportunity to explore a different side of Vienna, but also to meet new friends along the way!
The hike is very easy and does not require any special experience or hiking boots. We’ll walk mainly on forest paths, but please keep in mind, that the tour is also about 12 kilometres long in a hilly terrain.
See you soon!
