You’re not scared of vampires? Then join our adventure to discover the tracks of the mysterious and famous vampire Dracula and his castle Bran in Romania.
The bloody history of Dracula started in the 15th century in the foggy countryside of Transylvania and his vampire stories haunt us until today.
The ESN trip will begin on a dark Thursday evening, just the right time for our vampire experience. Our first stop will be Friday morning in Sibiu, a medieval city which once belonged to the Austro-Hungarian Empire under the name of Hermannstadt. In Sibiu, we will have a guided tour through the city center and in the evening, after a typical Romanian meal, we will pre-party at our hostel.
On Saturday, we will visit Count Dracula's castle, the trip's highlight. There we will explore Dracula’s scary myth and history. Afterwards, the nearby picturesque city Brasov awaits, followed by dinner, tasting a special Romanian spirit called Tuica and an amazing party.
On Sunday we're going to visit Corvin Castle and after lunch, we'll start our trip back to Vienna – hopefully without a vampire bite.
